He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernie Freeman and Ethel Freeman (Foster); his siblings, Clinton "Woody" Freeman, Lewis "Micky" Freeman, Paul Freeman, Pauline Love and Kay Bolin; and his grandson Bryan McCuctheon.
He is survived by: his wife Niva Freeman (Royce) of Jasper; his children, Ann Clark (Larry) of Jasper and Clayton Freeman (Shelley) of Bass; his sisters, Bernice Breedlove of Valley Springs and Betty Bolin of Mt. Judea; and his grandchildren, Breana Jo Bower, Britney Bruce and Josh Freeman. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
