He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Boling and Margaret Jane Boling (Nicklaus); his son Cary Boling; and his brother David Beaver. He is survived by: his wife Betty Boling (Black); his son Lance Boling (Jill); and his stepdaughter Shawna Spier (Gary). He is also survived by grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thornton Funeral Home (211 Luzerne St, Mt Ida, AR 71957). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mount Ida Methodist Church (243 Whittington St, Mt Ida, AR 71957).
His contributions to the Mount Ida community, his love for music and travel, and his enduring dedication to his family and faith leave a legacy that will not be forgotten.
