He is survived by: his wife Eula Faye Blackburn (Whisenhunt); his children, Sherry Robbins (Steve), Kim Gornichec (Russell) and Scott Blackburn (Abby); his grandchildren, Halie Brakefield (Will), Russell Tackett, Chase Whittington, Malorie Tackett and Gabrielle Blackburn; his great grandchildren, Natalee Brakefield, Emilee Brakefield and Makenzee Brakefield; his brother James "Gip" Blackburn (Barbara); and his brother-in-law Arthur Jones.
