She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ellis and Lucy Hines Ellis; her husband Charles Austin; and her siblings, Charlotte, Janie and Johnny Mack.
She is survived by: her children, Nancy Bryant of Little Rock, Phillip Foster of Camden, Wanda Jones (Don) of Fort Worth and Terry Beavers (Lisa) of Mount Ida; and her brother Jimmy Ellis (Sheila).
