Bettye Lou touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rena L. Catlett Kight and Monroe Jackson Kight; her siblings, Bill (Betty Kight), Leonard (Winnie Kight) of James Edward, Lily Kight (Clarence "Buddy"), Laverne Kight (Clarice "Sissy"), J. D. Green (Evelyn Walker Vaughn) and Jane (Gary Brooks); and her nephews, Billy, Phillip, Michael, Dale, Wayne, Johnny, Leon, Bud and Jimmy-Gale.
She is survived by: her husband Jeffie Speer; her daughter Cheryl Smith; her son-in-law Calvin Smith; and her granddaughter Darcy Smith.
