He was predeceased by: his father Clarence McConnell. He is survived by: his sister Dorothy Bailey of Sherwood; his daughters, Margo Johnson (Jerry) of Conway and Anne Pockrus (Bobby) of Sherwood; and his grandchildren, Alex Hubbard, Addison Hubbard, Miles Pockrus, Megan Crockett (Thomas), Garrett Gregg (Courtney), Melody Starks, Brenna Luman (Joel) and Kylie Horner (Jordan). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
