He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ruffiner, Sr. and Montine Tillit Ruffiner. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Louise Byrd Ruffiner of Morrilton; and his children, Theresa "Tess" Castillo (Fermin) of Conway, Michael Ruffiner of Farmersville and James Ruffiner (Gayle) of Morrilton. He is also survived by four grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
