With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Earl Cheek of Morrilton, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 18, 2024 at the age of 61. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James Earl Cheek to pay them a last tribute.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Cleo Cheek, Jr. and Mary Virginia Grant Cheek; his son James "Jay" Earl Cheek, Jr.; his wife Michelle Cowart-Cheek of Morrilton; his children, Anthony Grant Cheek of Morrilton, John Cheek (Madeline Beck) of Bryant and Elizabeth Maegan Cheek (Blake Lastovica) of Little Rock; his siblings, Laura Cheek Larson (David) of Conway, William Cleo Cheek III of Conway and George Richard Cheek of Morrilton; his grandson Boston R. Cheek; and his mother-in-law Diane Cowart. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Harris Funeral Homes - Morrilton (1325 N Oak St, Morrilton, AR 72110). A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Morrilton First Presbyterian Church (105 W Church St, Morrilton, AR 72110).

Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
