She was predeceased by: her parent Payton Hood; her husband John H Shavers; her children, Betty Godbold, Vera Carroll, Donna Shavers and Elijah Shavers; and her siblings, Aaron Hood, Bobby Hood, Lizitta Gray, Margie Dickerson, Inez Green, Jennie M Johnson and Nathaniel Hood.
She is survived by: her children, Johnnie Oliver of Menifee, Arkansas, Sarah Foster (Tony) of Menifee, Arkansas, Linda Shavers of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Brenda Steward (Larry) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Larry Shavers of Menifee, Maurice Shavers (Phyllis) of Menifee and Richard Shavers; and her brother Theodore Hood of Russellville, Arkansas.. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 33 great-great-grandchildren.
