It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Halagean Holyfield Martin of Morrilton, Arkansas, who passed away on March 2, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter B Holyfield, Sr. and Lillian Pairlee Williams Holyfield; and her siblings, Walter B Holyfield, Jr., Marvel Stell, Ruth Lee Victor, Edna Earl Picklesimer and Lela Cato.
She is survived by: her son Terry Martin (Karen) of Oppelo, Her; her granddaughter Tori Sims (Dustin) of Oppelo; her great grandchildren, Chloe Kate and Keeley Adaline Sims of Oppelo; her nephews, Dicky Cato of Quitman, Lenny Cato of Pottsville and George Picklesimer of Branson, MO.; her niece Sherry Tuttle of Pottsville; and her pet Pepper.
A memorial service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Baptist Church (101 E Clifton St, Morrilton, AR 72110).
