He was predeceased by: his parents, E. L. Leapheart and Inez Henson Leapheart; his grandparents, Eddie, Tobitha Leapheart, Alfred and Ida Dean Henson; his sisters, Mae Leapheart and Patricia Canady; and the mother of his children Gloria Stricklen Leapheart.
He is survived by: his children, Latonio White, Kristy Doss (D'Andre) and Keri Leapheart; his siblings, Carolyn Betts, Kathy Franklin (Michael), Sarah Kemp (Randy), Martha Dillard, Linda Leapheart and Louis Leapheart; and his aunts, Ivo Foster, Ophelia Monroe and Ora Henson. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, thirteen nieces and nine nephews; and thirty-one great nieces and nephews.
