He was predeceased by: his parents, T. J. Virden and Ila Lemley Virden; his siblings, A. D. Virden, Elfie Virden, Beatrice Bewley and Zella Gullett; his grandson Jordan Virden; and his great grandchild Westyn.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Virden; his children, Rhonda (Ben) and Jeff (Misti); and his sister Juanita Banks. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
