He is survived by: his wife Debbie Jenkins Gates of Moro Bay, AR; his children, Brandon Gates (Chasity) of El Dorado, AR, Garett Gates (Kayla) of Warren, AR and Sydney Kidwell (BJ) of Sterlington, LA; his sister Judy Gates of Moro Bay, AR; and his grandchildren, Luke Gates, Makenzie Gates, Madilyn Gates, Finn Kidwell, Remi Kidwell and Mia Kidwell.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Landmark Missionary Baptist Church or Gravelridge Cemetery.
