He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hetland and Louise Ashley Hetland; and his sister Margo White. He is survived by: his wife Kay Rice Hetland of Montrose; his daughters, Nicole Menard of Pocahontas and Tabitha Hetland of Texas; his brother Ashley Hetland (Pamela) of Maine; and his grandchildren, Jordan Kay Menard and Ty Menard. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
