She was predeceased by: her husband Elijah Stepps; her children, James Leppol and Merline Stepps-Johnson; her parents, Carter William-Woods and Maybell William-Woods; and her siblings, Perry Woods, James Woods, Clayborn Woods, Geraldine Harbey, Dora Gibson, Lucille Walker and Buleah Woods.
She is survived by: her children, George Stepps (Pearly) of Pine Bluff, AR, Charles Bynum (Jackie) of Portland, AR, Danny Woods (Gloria) of Pine Bluff, AR, Brenda Lacey (Willie) of Bastrop, LA and Sharon Johnson (Danny) of Montrose, AR; her brother Willie "Sonnyman" of Montrose, AR; her sister-in-law Hazel Woods; and her brother Willie Lacey. She is also survived by five grandchildren; fifty-three great-grandchildren; thirteen great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews.
