He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Riley and Bernice Thompson-Turner; and his brother William Riley. He is survived by: his wife Addie Katheryn Jackson-Thomas; his children, Freddie Lucas (Peggy) of Chicago, IL, George E. Thomas (Deloris), Grealin Thomas (Cassandra), Eric Thomas of Hamburg, Georgetta Guyton (Arthur) of Peoria, IL, Azilee Leavell (Robert) of Cumberland, TN, Angela Price (Sam) of Seattle, WA, Shelia Thomas of Seattle, WA, Linda Thomas of Seattle, WA and Anne Thomas of Murfreesboro, TN; and his brother Edward Earl Gillis (Juanita) of Montrose, AR. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; forty-four great-grandchildren; ten great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
