He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Abe Gillis and Bernice Thompson; his sons, Carlton Gillis of Montrose, AR and Gregory Gillis; his siblings-in-law, Katheryn Thomas, RithieRobinson-Allen, Linda Dawson of Montrose, AR. and George Robinson of Kansas City, MO; and his cousin Clara May Thompson of Chicago, IL. He was also cherished by one grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends.
