He was predeceased by: his wife Christine Harbor Burns; his stepchildren, Jeff Woolsey Burns and Vickie Woolsey Craig-Mixon; his brother Franklin Thomas Burns; and his parents, Henry Burns and Marie McCurdy Burns.
He is survived by: his siblings, David (Joann Burns) of Montrose, AR, Melvin (Lynette Burns) of Norwalk, CA, Robert (Billie Burns) of Crossett, AR, Bernard (Janice Burns) of Crossett, AR, Carolyn Swann of Montrose, AR, Mary Cooley of Crossett, AR and Martha (Troy) of Dewitt, AR. He is also survived by two grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and other relatives and friends.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Montrose Cemetery.
