She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira King and Margaret Wilkerson; her husband Robert M. DeFir Jr.; her siblings, Ira Laron King, Sharon Milholland and Dorothy Marilyn King; and her grandchildren, Austin, Michelle and Keith.
She is survived by: her children, Laura A. Andrew of Monticello, AR and Bobby Defir III (Leigh Anne) of Selma, AR; her stepsisters, Eva Peacock, Mitzi DeFir, Brenda King and Robin DeFir Boyd; and her grandchildren, Tristen, Noah, Emmaleigh, Paden, Maggie, Josh, Robbie, Sam, Melissa, Mandy, Jody, DeeDee, Jessica, Kevin and Micah. She is also survived by great grandchildren, other family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bishop-King Funeral Home (1831 South Highway 65 & 82, Lake Village, AR 71653). A funeral service was held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
