Roma Gene Burton Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Roma Gene Burton of Monticello, Arkansas, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley William Burton and Dolly Wright Burton; his wife Inez Lee Burton; his sons, Ronnie Burton (Joline) and Donald Ray "Pete" Burton; and his siblings, James Burton, William Burton, Stanley Burton, Jr., Margaret Jordan and Joy Dell Burton Harris.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Miller of Monticello; his daughter-in-law Lavera Goad Burton; his grandchildren, Terri Sawyer (Daniel), Jason Miller, Katrina Sidwell, Clinton Burton (Kim), Theresa Burton, Lee Sanson, Jason McDougal and Tammy Stain (Steven); and his close friend Opal Forrest. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
