Michael Lee Garvey Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Michael Lee Garvey (Monticello, Arkansas), born in Charlotte, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his daughter Chandra Irene Garvey; his brothers, Terry and Ted Garvey; his parents, Gertrude Kauffman and Lloyd Garvey; and his grandmother Vinnie.
He is survived by: his wife Bonita Garvey; his daughters, Colleen Handly (Robert Handly) and Corinne Cathey (Cori); his grandchildren, Jason Handly, Ashley Cathey, Britney Cathey and Craig Handly (Laura); his great grandchildren, Megan and Isabella; and his siblings, Sue Lawrie (Mike Lawrie) and Pat Garvey (Ginger).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home (943 US-425, Monticello, AR 71655). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
