She was predeceased by: her parents, James Pounders and Edna Mew Pounders; her sons, Bennie Strickland and James Strickland; her grandson Kenneth Kevin Willams; her great grandchild Aaron Walker Strickland; and her sisters, Sue Harper, Peggy Carrington and Betty Abernathy.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Strickland Mitchell of Monticello, Donald Strickland (Glenda) of Monticello, Paula Strickland Pulliam (Dirk) of Fort Smith and Steve Strickland (Tina) of Monticello; and her sister Clara Crockett of White Hall. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren, along with a host of nieces and nephews.
