He was predeceased by: his parents, Pierce Orr (P. S.) and Bessie Woodard Orr (Bess Ola); his grandson Zyan Preston Orr; and his close friend Willie Mae Brooks. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Anderson; his children, Gwinnett Orr of Little Rock, AR, Toni Jackson Ransom (Garry) of Arlington, TX, Denise Orr Moore (Michael) of Wilmar, AR and Eric Simmons (Terica) of Warren, AR; his grandchildren, Erin Simmons and Trevor Corbin; his great grandchild Carter Corbin; his siblings, Johnny Orr (Amanda), Lereatha Hamilton (John) and Mary Diane Johnson; and his niece Jennifer Jones of Wilmar, AR..
