He was predeceased by: his parents, George Harmon and Levy Creighton Harmon; his son Barry G. Harmon; and his siblings, Margie Near, Ouida Brossette, Jaâ (Key Harmon), Bonnie Walls, Roy Harmon, Norris Harmon, Dewey Harmon, Bobby Harmon and Ray Hunsaker.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Harmon of Monticello; his son James A. Harmon; and his sisters, Ruby Burnett, Anna Cater, Joyce Raborn and Charlene Harmon. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
