He is survived by: his wife Veronica Murphy of Monticello; his children, John Edward Murphy (Sheigh) of Monticello, Gary Don Murphy of Monticello and Crystal Michelle Verdun (Joseph) of Monticello; his brothers, Johnny Murphy (Pam), Michael Murphy and Danny Murphy; his grandchildren, Nathaniel Murphy, Gage Murphy, Gracie Murphy, Madison Murphy, Hunter Murphy, Aiden Murphy, Brytani Murphy, Audra Murphy (A. J.) and Wesley Murphy; and his close friend Marty Burgess. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
