She was predeceased by: her parents, William Burnett and Katie Simpson Burnett; her husband L. A. Smith, Jr.; and her siblings, Charles William Burnett, Elbert Burnett, Olen Burnett and Juanita Baker.
She is survived by: her grandson Collin; her children, Donald Gill (Margarita) of Texas and Tambara Cingolani (Ronnie) of McGehee; her sister Shirley Havard of McGehee; her granddaughters, Mitzi Smith (Brian) of Monticello and Rhonda Cruse (Dusty) of Warren; her great grandchildren, Grace Remick (D. J.) of Monticello, Ashtyn Smith of Monticello, Mattie Hill (Daniel) of Monticello, Chandler Bolling of Monticello and A. J. Bolling of Tillar; and her great great grandchild Collin Remick of Monticello.
