He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl V. Atwood and Ruth E. Dempster; his wife Regina Dawkins Atwood; his siblings, Emma Bell Atwood James of Sallisaw, OK, Bill Tackett of Anadarko, OK and Douglas Tackett of Casa Grande, AZ; his parents-in-law, Nelson and Linda Henry of Monticello; and his pets, Jasper, Peanut and Duke.
He is survived by: his children, Jonathan Atwood of Monticello and Danielle Atwood (Jessica Atwood) of Monticello; his siblings, Mary Jo Dakil of Sallisaw, OK, Dennis Atwood of Phoenix, AZ and Tommy Trantham of Monticello; his siblings-in-law, Michael Henry of Monticello and Dianna Henry of Monticello; his grandchildren, Gannon Allen, Lauren Michelle and Brianna Jade; and his pet Karma. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
