She was predeceased by: her parents, William Clyde and Eddie Jane Hoover; her husband Robert Woodrow Meek of Monticello; and her sisters, Reba Lee and Mary Catherine.
She is survived by: her son James Randolph (Randy); and her granddaughters, Cassandra Atwood (Eric), Breanna Borlase (Matthew), Mikayla Crane (Jeremiah) and Jillissa Rush (Seth). She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Faith Community Church or Kansas City Hospice North Care Team.
