With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Wilson of Monticello, Arkansas, who passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carolyn Wilson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Louie Hand, Sr. and Hazel Vanpelt Hand; her husband Dr. Thomas C. Wilson; her children, Vickie Morgan Cater Newton and Andy Morgan; and her siblings, Doris Hand McClanahan and William Louie Hand, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, David Wilson (Paula) of Monticello, Arkansas and Kim Binns (Mark) of Star City; and her granddaughter Julie Hayes (James) of Tillar, Arkansas. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home (943 US-425, Monticello, AR 71655). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Dermott Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Monticello Church of Christ.
