He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Houchin; his daughter Mylinda Pierce (Dave) of Monette; his sister Nettie Lou James of Harrisburg; his sister-in-law Lin Dowless of Monette; his grandchildren, Chelsea Bettis (Andy) of Jonesboro, Colton Houchin (Kelsea) of Manila and Bret Houchin of Broken Bow, OK; his great grandchildren, Ben and Palmer Bettis; and his nephew Brant Dowless of Monette.
A graveside service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Monette Memorial Cemetery (370 S Reeves St, Monette, AR 72447).
