She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Richardson and Effie Richardson; her husband Lucian "Jiggs" Layne Sr.; and her aunt Edna Mae Freeman. She is survived by: her children, Cindy Hatch (Mike) of Monette and Skip Layne (Marla) of Jordan; her grandchildren, Kristi Austin (Jeff) of Monette, Brian Hatch of Jonesboro, Chip Layne (Ashley) of Mammoth Springs and Crystal Layne Cline (Jeff) of Jonesboro; her great grandchildren, Ryan Austin of Monette, Layne Austin (Allison) of Jonesboro, Whitlee Layne of Jonesboro, Taylor Layne (Morgan) of Black Oak, Kelsea Cline of Jonesboro and Kaitlyn Cline of Jonesboro; her daughter Patti Qualls (Gary) of Monette; and her close friend Eva Gonzalez. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
