Hawkins; his brothers-in-law, Wilson Swinton, Willie Albert Switzer and James Criswell; his wife Phillesia Ester Hawkins; his mother Classie Hawkins; his children, Melvin Hawkins, Timothy Hawkins (Shunette), Toney Hawkins (Melissa), Peaches Buchanan (Gordon), Comeatrieze Ester, Nashara Ester, Shadae Hawkins, Jamie Nelson and Amy Tucker (Myron); and his siblings, Mertice Swinton, Ella Switzer, Elton Hawkins (Mary), JP Hawkins (Lois), Luke Hawkins (Ruth), Mineal Hawkins, Elcie Strickland (Henry), Eugene Hawkins (Lawana), Magdalene Strickland (William) and Virginia Oates (Roger). He was also cherished by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends.
