He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy J. Gibson and Gladys Beatrice Vess Gibson; his daughter Kimberly Ann Demory; and his sisters, Glenda Hannigan and Shirley Loretta Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Johnson; his children, Tonya Hendricks, Chris Hendricks of Longview, Natalie Mellina, Scott Mellina of Fort Worth, Texas and Timothy Scot Gibson of Kilgore, Texas; and his sister Debbie Hankins of Horatio. He is also survived by five grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
