She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Lee and Vivian Perry Cottman; her son Karlton Parnell; her son-in-law John Brown; and her siblings, Bobby Cottman and Maggie Cottman.
She is survived by: her husband Loyd Shrum of Mena; her daughter Karla Brown of Mena; and her grandchildren, Chris Parnell of Yocana and Curtis Parnell of Mena. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
