Rowena Barr Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rowena Barr (Mena, Arkansas), who passed away on March 22, 2019 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Gaston and Nancy Mary Jane Glass; and her siblings, James Parten, Allen Parten, Jr., Earl Parten and Betty Story.

She is survived by: her husband Howard Barr of Mena; her children, David Barr and Shannon McCormick; and her close friend Daniel Ashcraft of Vandervoort. She is also survived by five grandchildren, four great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family is asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Cancer Society or Gideon's International.
