He was predeceased by: his parents, Reymundo S. Ortiz and Victoria Galvan Ortiz; and his brothers, Santana Ortiz, Jesus Ortiz (Jesse), Juan Ortiz (Johnny), Raymond Ortiz and Rogelio Ortiz (Roger).
He is survived by: his son Reymundo Galvan Ortiz Jr.; his daughter-in-law Samantha Ortiz; his siblings, Joe Ortiz of Dumas, Texas and Herlinda; his brother-in-law Ricardo Martinez of Amarillo, Texas; and his grandchildren, Oliviana Ortiz of Mena, Nayeli Ortiz of Mena, Aryana Ortiz of Mena, Averi Ortiz of Mena, Kairah Ortiz of Mena, Makien Ortiz of Mena and Isiah Ortiz of Mena. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
