He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Hackney and Katherine Martin Hackney; and his brother Darrell Hackney. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Hackney of Mena; his children, Tim (Jennifer Stinson), Brian (Kelly Coleman), Philip Tom Hackney of Hatfield, Brad (Lisa Coleman), Phillip David Jr. (Amber Hackney), Michelle Lee Sutton of Texas and Tonya Marie (Pete Gallardo); his sisters, Sherrell Cobb of Mena and Regina Miller of Mena; and his sister-in-law Linda Stinson of Mt. Ida. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
