It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred Evelyn Wood (Mena, Arkansas), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Peter Lindberg and Sonia Lindberg; her sister Rose Wisdom (John Wood); her granddaughter Sarah Loughran; her children, Steven, Sally Wood, Rockport, Linda, Don Loughran of Carrollton, TX, Kathy, Frank Childers, Carl Wood, Olen, Iris Wood of Coeur and Alene; her grandchildren, Abigail McKinney, Rebekah Self, Andrew Childers and Roger Wood of New York City, NY; and her great grandchildren, Logan, Elijah, Skyler, Matthew Self of Austin, TX, Haley and Brody Childers of Austin, TX.
In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made to the First Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund, 904 Church Ave, Mena, Arkansas 71953.
