He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Jean Bell Harris; and his brother Theodore Martin Harris. He is survived by: his father Theodore Francis; his stepmother Margaret Harris of Big Fork, Arkansas; his sister Jeanetta; his brother-in-law Grant Townson of Mena; and his close friend Toni. He is also survived by four step brothers; one step sister.
