She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde F. House and Minnie House (Hamilton); her husband Daryl Ray Himes; and her siblings, Elizabeth, Vera, Curtis, Howard, Dorothy, Ruth and Sonny.

She is survived by: her friends, Lori and Cheryl; her sons, Ron Himes (Karen) of Mena and Daryl Lynn Himes (Debbie) of Redding, CA; her grandchildren, Jesse Himes (Dianna), Nicole Knight (Ron), Ben Himes, Brian Himes and Jamie Himes (Monica); her sister Ginny Reaby of Pennsylvania; her niece Joyce; and her friend Candias Chalker. She is also survived by fifteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren.

“My mother was such a wonderful person and liked by everyone. She has had a wonderful life, full of much happiness and joy. She has always had a deep faith and love for the lord. Not only a great mother but such a wonderful grandmother as well. Always loved little children. My younger brother and I were lucky enough to have one of the bests cooks in our town, or any town. And she was pretty proud of that. She will be greatly missed. Lynn Himes”
