He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Hilbern and Lela Mae McCracken Thomas; and his brother Larry Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jolean Thomas of Mena; his sons, Lowell Thomas Jr. of Garland and Joel Thomas of Sulphur Springs, Texas; his stepdaughters, Ralean Ijams of Kona and Joelle Gatlin of Houston, Texas; his sister Debbie Cockrell of Memphis, Tennessee; and his grandchildren, Autumn Thomas of Garland, Joseph Ijams of San Diego, Jonathan Gatlin of Houston, Rebecca Gatlin of Houston, Amber Noble of Melissa and Bryce Jenkins of Sulphur Springs, Texas. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
