He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie L. Howard Sr. and Edith Howard (Burt); his wife Linda Howard (Blackwood); his grandson Travis Howard; and his siblings, Jimmy Howard, Betty Jo Brooks, Joyce Martin, Margery Howard, Maxine Howard and Dorothy Howard.
He is survived by: his children, Jeff Howard, Pete Howard (Ginny) and Tammy Venable (Tim); his grandchildren, Scotty Howard (Kimmy), Krystal Titsworth (Jimmy), Ty Venable, Cody Howard (Kayla) and Lacey Goodner (Ross); his sister Sammye Cureton; his sister-in-law Jackie Nash; and his caregiver Dana Brown. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
