He is survived by: his wife Kela Dawn Murphy; his children, John Charles Murphy (Mariah), Danen Davis, Donna James (Spencer), Melia Smith and Cheyenne Smith; his grandchildren, John Dale, Aurora, Mary Jane, Jazmine, Matthew, Hannah, Abbie, Kayanna, Rhyder, Ashlynn, Lainey, Lillie, Christopher and Octavia; his great grandchild Rayelynn; his siblings, Ricky Murphy and Glenda McHam; and his close friends, Jody Carter and Nikki.
