She was predeceased by: her parents, Stephen Douglas Barney and Carol Mae Barney (LaBuy). She is survived by: her husband Juan A. Cabello of Mena; her children, Misti Clark (Kevin) of Frisco, Phillip Savage (Mandy) of Sallisaw, OK and Christopher Grimes of Salem, IL; and her siblings, Daniel Barney (Jody) of Meridianville, AL, Sandra Ward of Lone Rock, WI and Stephen Barney (Joy) of Mena, AR. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, nine nieces and nephews.

Therefore, if anyone would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, the family has chosen the Fort Smith Crisis Intervention Center. Donations can be completed through their website at fscic.org.
