He is survived by: his wife Shelia Williamson Schmidt; his sons, Glancy Wise "Sonny" Schmidt, III (Dallas) of Crosby and Robert Louis "Robby" Schmidt, Sr. (Tracy) of Bee Branch, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Theresa Wood (JB) of Zachary, Cherie Jarreau (Jeremy) of New Roads, Robert Louis Schmidt, Jr. of Mena, Maranda Schmidt, Kaileigh Schmidt of Soso, Joey Schmidt of Bee Branch, Dalton Schmidt of Central Louisiana and Kylee Schmidt of Bee Branch, Arkansas; his siblings, Brenda Stevens (Ronnie Stevens) and Bernie (Katie); his siblings-in-law, Darlene (James Branscum), Robert Williamson Jr. (Pamela) and Garney Williamson; and his friends, Steve and Debbie McMellon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
