She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Edward Beers and Margaret Meta Sunderman Beers; her husband Paul Proft; her son Daniel Proft; her siblings, John Beers, Charlie Beers, Edward Beers, Bill Beers, Bob Beers, Charlotte Beers and Helena Beers; and her grandson Nathan Meier.
She is survived by: her daughters, Paula Pederson of Memphis, Lenora Sumsky (Louis Sumsky) of Manchester and Loretta Meier (Bill Meier) of Ann Arbor; and her stepdaughters, Janis Robertson, Sherry Hopkins and Cynthia Mayhew. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, four great grandchildren, countless nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends.
