She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew McBride and Ozie McBride; her husband Johnny Elder; her daughter Debbie Smith; her sisters, Dorabell Rogers, Ruby Reed and Gladys Reed; and her sons-in-law, Joe Duke and Ray Smith.
She is survived by: her children, David Elder (Rebecca) of Kendallville, Indiana, Cathie Duke of Mena, Becky Shrader (Brent) of Mena and Patsy Meadows (Jerry) of Farmington, Arkansas. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family.
