He is survived by: his close friend Charles; his wife Anna Ruth Posey; his daughter Sherry Lynne Chapin of Mena, Arkansas.; and his siblings, Clayton Posey of Wayne, Alice Gwendolyn Neal of Bethany and Maralyn Vay Chandler of Conway, Arkansas..
