She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Gilbert and Bessie Little Gilbert; her siblings, David Gilbert (Tawana Neil Gilbert), Richard Gilbert, Joyce Gilbert, Betty Fretz and Keith; her sister-in-law Patricia Stewart; and her niece April Gilbert.
She is survived by: her husband Wade Stewart; her children, Melissa Aleshire (Greg) of Mena, Arkansas. and Wade Stewart, Jr. (Danielle) of Mena; her sister Martha Gurnick (Jim Andre Gilbert); her siblings-in-law, Pat Gilbert and Mark Stewart (RebeccaNumerous); and also Debbie Alley.
