He was predeceased by: his parents, Thaddeus Dillard Reid and Gladys Reid; his brother Arvil Alger; and his nephew Mitchell Thompson. He is survived by: his sisters, Marilyn Hogan of Waldron and Nancy Thompson of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his nephew Mike Hogan (Kim Cheryl Seidel).
